Have a train fan in your family? Host your birthday party at the Jackson Street Roundhouse! Cost of renting our Birthday Party Car is $100, plus museum admission for birthday party guests and family. Museum admission prices on Saturdays are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (6+) and children ages 5-15, $5 for children ages 2-4, and children under age of 2 are free of charge. Admission includes the cost of a classic bus ride/caboose ride. MELSA passes are not accepted for birthday admissions.
The $100 price for the Birthday Party Car includes the use of your own private rail car in our museum. We’ll take care of the set-up and clean-up of both tableware (7” plates, napkins, forks, and spoons) as well decorating the car for your festivities. Also included are party favors, which vary, for the whole group.
You may bring your own food to enjoy, as well as any additional games or crafts you have planned for your party. Caboose rides are available on Saturdays and last for about 20 minutes.
Guest lists must be supplied before the party, and a down payment of $50 (non-refundable) must be received in advance. Final charges will be based upon guest list supplied.

Group Pricing:
Bus drivers receive complimentary admission. For your school/youth groups, one teacher or chaperon per every 10 students will be complimentary. For adult/senior groups, one escort per bus load will be complimentary.
Any changes in the confirmed number should be made no later than one week preceding the event. Charge will be based on confirmed number. To secure a reservation, a $50 down payment is required in advance. Deposit is non-refundable, but can be applied to an alternate date.

The Classic Buses are available for charter rental. The cost to rent a Classic Bus is $350 for 3 hours, plus $45 per hour after that. The capacity per bus is 48 people. To secure a reservation, a $100 down payment is required in advance. The deposit is non-refundable, but can be applied to an alternate date.

Travel along the sandstone bluffs of the St. Croix River valley, cross over the Cedar Bend Draw Bridge, journey through William O’Brien State Park and on to Marine on the St. Croix, Minnesota. At Marine, the engine will do a run around and bring you back to Osceola. While onboard, visit the postal clerk in the mail car to learn how mail was caught “on the fly” and be sure to visit the concession car where you can purchase a railroad trinket, soda or snack.

This 50-minute round trip takes you from Osceola, Wisconsin to Dresser, Wisconsin. Board the train in Osceola at the historic SOO Line depot, located at 114 Depot Road. You’ll travel through rural Wisconsin passing communities, farms and homes. While onboard, visit the postal clerk in the mail car to learn how mail was caught “on the fly” and be sure to visit the concession car where you can purchase a railroad trinket, soda or snack. Once in Dresser, passengers are allowed some time to exit the train and stretch their legs while checking out the fully refurbished 1887 Dresser depot. You can almost imagine that the agent has just stepped out to meet your train.

This 2.5 hour round-trip takes passengers farther down the St Croix Valley, from Osceola, WI, to Withrow, MN. Board the train in Osceola, WI, at the historic SOO Line depot, located at 114 Depot Road. Following the rails down the St. Croix Valley to Marine on St. Croix, you'll enjoy beautiful sights including waterfalls, scenery of William O'Brien State Park, and breathtaking views of the St. Croix Valley in the sunset.

On Saturday and Sunday, begin your fun filled event by riding on a 1950s classic bus that will pick you up from Osceola High School parking lot in Osceola, Wisconsin at 1114 Oak Ridge Dr. The bus will bring you to the Osceola Depot where you will board the train for a ride to the pumpkin patch and other fun filled fall activities. On Friday, come right to the depot for parking. You will be traveling through rural Wisconsin passing communities, farms and homes. When the train arrives at the festival grounds in Dresser, Wisconsin, passengers exit to enjoy pump car rides, games, wagon rides, face painting. Don’t forget to check out the haunted depot! Food (such as hamburgers, hot dogs, etc) will be available on the festival grounds for sale. This is always a sell out so make your reservations early. Wear a costume and see if you’re as scary as the ghouls in the haunted depot!
Friday, October 14th the pumpkin train departs at 10:30 AM & 11:30 AM Saturday, October 15th and Sunday, October 16th the pumpkin train departs at 9:30 AM, 10:30AM, 11:30 AM, 1:00PM and 2:00 PM. You do not have to take your same train back to the station in Osceola; last train on Friday will be 3 hours after the last departure; on Saturday and Sunday, last train back will be around 4:30pm.
This is always a sell out so make your reservations early.
A free pumpkin will be available for all children 15 and under.
Event will be held rain or shine, dress for outdoor weather – wear a costume if you like!
Reservations for pumpkin trains should be made by 8:00 am on the day before your scheduled departure. There may be a small number of tickets available at the station, but may not be for the time you would like.
